If you are considering a Sanibel Island Condo Rental, you may want to consider a condo at South Seas Plantation. Captiva Island is a quieter location than would be available in a typical Sanibel Island condo rental. Captiva Island is connected to Sanibel Island by a short bridge over the Blind Pass area connecting the two islands.

• Villas are cleaned before arrival and after departure.  This cleaning is included in our rates.  You may arrange for additional cleaning services at an additional charge.

Please Note: You are not a guest of the resort, where the pricing is significantly higher. You do have access to several amenities:

- Resort Health Club (daily or weekly membership - same as renting from South Seas Resort direct) - Two restaurants, deli and shops at the South End of the Resort and next to the Village (very close to our villa) - The trams, tennis, beach chairs, towels, and umbrellas - Two pools by the villa. - Cruises from the Marina and the Offshore Sailing School. - If you're interested in Golf, you'll probably prefer the more challenging, Dunes or Beachview Golf Courses. Both are 18 hole courses on Sanibel (just 20 minutes away) compared with the course at the Resort.

- The best restaurants (and they are numerous) are in the Village, just a 5-10 minute walk from our door. We will provide you with some suggestions. (An ice cream/coffee shop is in the village. This will compensate for the ice cream shop that is only for resort guests at the North end of the Resort.) - Excellent rental of 6-speed aluminum men's, ladies', and children's bikes can be delivered to your door, so you don't have to rent the Resort's rusty single speed beach bikes. - The only amenities NOT available are the golf course, the few shops, ice cream shop and two restaurants at the North End of the Resort (about a mile from our villa) and the kid's camp. - Washers and dryers are located on the ground level of our condominium, and are coin operated.
